About Us

Established in 1990, Activity Centres Incorporated is a not-for-profit, Parent Managed Organisation dedicated to providing high-quality care for children aged 0 to 12 years. We proudly serve families across the Western Sydney and greater Sydney regions.

As a Parent Managed Organisation, we deeply value the contributions of our volunteer parents who form the backbone of our governance. To ensure smooth and efficient daily operations, we employ a professional Manager who leads our services and coordinates with a dedicated team of support staff at our head office.

Our commitment to community, family engagement, and child-centered care continues to guide our programs and practices, helping children thrive in safe, nurturing, and stimulating environments.

Pollen Count & Allergy Awareness
At Activity Centres Incorporated, we check the daily pollen count to help plan safe and inclusive programs for all children. This allows us to adjust activities—especially for children with asthma or pollen-related allergies—by offering suitable indoor alternatives on high pollen days.

You can also stay informed by visiting the Sydney Pollen Count and Forecast website for the latest updates.

Sun Protection & Outdoor Play
We are a proud SunSmart service. When the UV index is below 3, children are allowed to play outdoors without a hat to safely absorb some sunshine and support healthy vitamin D levels—important for their growth and wellbeing.

For real-time UV and sun safety updates, we recommend downloading the SunSmart app to your smartphone.

We value Inclusion

At Activity Centres Incorporated, we deeply value inclusion as a foundation of quality childcare. We believe every child has the right to feel respected, supported, and a true sense of belonging, regardless of their background, abilities, culture, or needs. Our programs are thoughtfully designed to celebrate diversity and ensure that all children can participate meaningfully in every aspect of our service. By fostering an inclusive environment, we help children develop empathy, confidence, and an appreciation for the unique qualities that make each individual special. Through collaboration with families and the community, we work to create a safe, welcoming space where all children thrive.
